Port Qasim Authority is lifeline of the Country and caters to provision of essential commodities / products, used in daily routine life; hence, the Port has to remain fully operational 24x7 without interruption, being essential service. On account of lockdown by the Government of Sindh due to pandemic COVID-19; the Government of Sindh has also declared the Port as Essential Services and exempted it from the lockdown.

The Chairman appreciates continued attendance and presence of employees performing essential duties and encourages to reach for duties either through officially available transport or in the alternative through personal transport / means. In case of use of personal transport / means, adequate compensation will be made.

The Chairman appreciates your cooperation and wishes you good health with advice to take all precautionary measures to remain safe. We believe that employees will rise to the occasion in performance of national duties in this difficult time.
